Position Overview
Marquette University School of Dentistry (MUSoD) seeks qualified candidates for a full time faculty position as Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in Prosthodontics, Department of General Dentistry. Starting date flexible.
As Wisconsin’s only dental school, MUSoD is answering the call to meet workforce needs, increase access to oral health care for underserved patients, and advance dental education in Wisconsin. MUSoD serves the community on its main campus in Milwaukee and in outreach clinics across the State of Wisconsin.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide clinical instruction, consultations, treatment planning and supervision to pre-doc dental students in the areas of restorative dentistry, removable, fixed, and implant prosthodontics, and digital dentistry.
Direct pre-doc prosthodontic courses which includes didactic and sim lab instruction.
Participate in the MUSoD quality control program.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualified applicants must have:
DMD/DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or a comparable international degree
Completed an Advanced Dental Education Program in Prosthodontics accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, or a comparable international program.
A current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin, or be eligible for a Wisconsin dental faculty license by the time of appointment.
Current CPR certification.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
