The Department of Psychology at Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI, currently IUPUI) is seeking applications for a full-time (10-month) non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2024. The primary responsibility of the position is to direct an Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology non-thesis Master of Science program. This Clinical track position will be appointed within the Psychology Department, and the successful candidate will be a core member of the I/O Psychology program faculty.
Primary responsibilities include managing a non-thesis I/O Psychology M.S. program including advising and monitoring master’s students, assisting with internship and practicum placements, organizing a weekly proseminar, campus and professional service, and teaching courses for the program, such as organizational psychology, organizational research methods, and other courses aligning with the program. Opportunities for summer teaching for additional salary are available. There are no research expectations, but scholarly dissemination is expected for higher ranks.
The non-thesis M.S. program builds on a long-standing highly reputable thesis based I/O master’s program with alumni placed in many consulting/industry organizations as well as highly competitive doctoral programs. The Psychology Department has 24 full-time faculty, over 700 majors, and approximately 55 graduate students. In addition to the I/O Psychology M.S. program, the department offers Ph.D. programs in Clinical Psychology and Addiction Neuroscience.

Required Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) and training in I/O Psychology or a closely related field. This is an open-rank position and qualifications for assistant, associate, or full Clinical professor will be commensurate with the recommended rank.
