The School of Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology offers programs in Physical Therapy, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Science and Technology, Athletic Training, and Therapeutic Recreation. The school has a strong focus on healthcare, inter-professional education, clinical experience, evidence-based practice, technology, and patient-centered care.
Job Summary
We seek a Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences and Technology (RS&T) to serve as the Gross Anatomy Lab Coordinator and Instructor. The position involves overseeing the cadaveric gross anatomy lab’s organization, coordination, and teaching of human anatomy/neuroanatomy courses. This position combines administrative responsibilities with hands-on instruction, ensuring the efficient functioning of the lab and providing students with a comprehensive educational experience in human anatomy/neuroanatomy.
Approximate percentage of duties: Teaching & Curriculum (70%), Research & Scholarship (10%), Program Administration (10%), Campus and Professional Service (10%).

Minimum Qualifications
  • Earned doctoral (PhD, EdD, SciD, or equivalent) degree in human anatomy or related discipline
  • Experience teaching in a higher-education setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experiences in advancing the academic success of students, particularly those who have been underrepresented in higher education, through innovative and inclusive classroom practice and pedagogy in cadaver based human anatomy
  • Previous experience with management or leadership of gross anatomy laboratory
  • Previous experience with instruction of students in health professions programs (e.g. athletic training, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology)
  • Evidence of leadership, professional service and/or scholarship
Target Salary Range The final offer will be contingent upon the knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrated throughout the selection process, as well as educational qualifications.
