The Clinic Director develops and directs all aspects of the daily operation of the La Salle University Speech-Language-Hearing Community Clinics and provides direct clinical supervision for student clinicians. The Clinic Director ensures that student practicum experiences comply with graduate program accreditation standards set by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) as well as individual certification standards set by the Council for Clinical Certification in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CFCC). The clinic is an established pro bono clinic serving clients in the greater Philadelphia area. This is a 12-month position.

 Manages day to day clinic operations including collecting client demographic information and pursuing new patient referrals
• Teaches assigned courses as part of the total teaching load (1-1-1)
• Orders and maintains all clinic materials and video observation equipment
• Revises and maintains clinic documentation, files, and videos
• Establishes the course structure for COSD 501 adjunct supervisors
• Supervises clinical adjunct professors
• Provides direct supervision to student clinicians
• Markets clinic to local schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, alumni.
• Prepares annual reports
• Advises students
• Assists the Director of Clinical Education with placement opportunities in the on-campus clinics
• Assists faculty with clinical assignments in coursework and research
• Maintains University-wide relationship with existing clinics (i.e., Community Psychology Clinics)

• Earned at minimum a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Eligible for PA licensure as a speech-language pathologist
• At least five years’ experience providing direct client service, supervising, and teaching student clinicians
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University
