Job Summary
Responsible to the Associate Dean of Academic & Clinical Affairs, the Nave Center Clinic Director will oversee all current and future clinical operations, service delivery, and business office operations at the Nave Center. The Nave Center is an interdisciplinary, interprofessional rehabilitation clinic located in Elizabethton, TN, which serves community health care needs and educates ETSU students who are pursuing a variety of careers in the rehabilitative health sciences. The facility is a dynamic, growing clinic and the expansion of services across rehabilitation disciplines with a focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness will be a top priority for the new Director.
The Nave Center is located within the College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences , which includes numerous programs including Speech and Language Pathology, Audiology, Social Work, and Allied Health Sciences. The College is part of the University’s Academic Health Sciences Division, which also houses the James H. Quillen College of Medicine, the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, the College of Public Health, and the College of Nursing.
ETSU is one of only about 100 designated Academic Health Science Centers in the nation and is one of the largest, along with The Ohio State University, with 5 academic health science colleges (medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health, and clinical & rehab sciences). Required Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, speech-language pathology, or related rehabilitation profession.
  • Eligible for a professional license as an audiologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, social worker, or speech-language pathologist in the state of Tennessee.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role of clinicians and support staff in a clinical setting.
  • Experience with electronic health records, billing, reimbursement, and scheduling in rehabilitation services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in a leadership/supervisory role (> 3 years).
  • Experience managing clinic budgets greater than $500k.
  • Experience with telehealth services and clinical simulation.
  • Skills in business and technology
  • Background in healthcare delivery and operations across settings and disciplines including Audiology, OT, PT, Social Work, SLP, and related health professions.
  • Experience as an autonomous practitioner within an interprofessional practice setting.
  • Experience with models of clinical supervision.
