Description of Work | The program coordinator assists with managing and enhancing programming within the Institute in the College of Business. Key areas of responsibility include student interaction, events coordination, and office administration. The coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming, positive, and professional work environment in the Institute for students and other visitors. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about helping students develop their natural talents into strengths and can demonstrate the ability to create positive, productive relationships that foster growth and development. Additionally, we are seeking an individual who works well in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup-like environment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills to create efficiency and excellence. The Clifton Strengths Institute is a first-of-its-kind program promoting student development and success through helping students discover their Clifton Strengths to maximize their potential. The Institute was founded in August 2015 with the goal to help Nebraska, the nation and the world identify the next generation of high- achieving leaders, entrepreneurs, and business builders to develop economic growth and prosperity. The Clifton Strengths Institute is a model for other organizations to learn to recognize individual potential and develop leaders who build and strengthen booming businesses and create more great jobs and great lives. Minimum Required Qualifications | Associate’s degree and one (1) year experience coaching, mentoring or working with people around their development using CliftonStrengths; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and programs. Experience must also demonstrate the ability to effectively plan, organize, and coordinate events. |
Preferred Qualifications | The ideal candidate may have coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree in student affairs or a related field. Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach status is desirable. |
