PURPOSE

The Client Technologies Analyst II, under general supervision, performs complex and non-routine specialized client technology support functions, such as troubleshooting, analysis, research, de-bugging, and problem-solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional Area 1: Support

Percent Effort: 35%

  • Utilizes complex system software tools to manage, maintain, configure, define security, and monitor desktop computer life cycle.

  • Provides consultative and technical services, in general, as a qualified manufacturer's sales representative.

  • Installs, upgrades, configures complex and multi-platform hardware and software.

  • Diagnoses and repairs complex hardware, software, and repairs configuration problems



Functional Area 2: Operations                           

Percent Effort: 35%          

  • Evaluates and follows through on issues and problems until resolved.

  • Tracks and assists in the coordination of equipment repair work order assignments and provides detailed work records, which outlines the history of tests, performance problems, and repairs for each piece of equipment.

Functional Area 3: Administrative                                                

Percent Effort: 15%                

  • Participates with management in planning, directing, and coordinating operational and procedural matters to meet goals and objectives.  

  • Reviews the accuracy of documentation of desktop support methods and procedures.

  • Prepares requisitions and prepares inventory acquisitions of products and services.

Functional Area 4: Research

Percent Effort: 15%          

  • Attends training, assists in researching, testing, and disseminating operation instructions.

  • Assists with the evaluation of new technologies to determine their applicability to clients’ needs.

  • Provides consultative and technical services, in general, as a qualified manufacturer's sales representative.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.

  • Three years of related experience.

  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

  • Knowledge of advanced analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving, client relations skills, requirement assessment and analysis, project management methodology, context and interrelationships, and proficiency of the Information Technology Interface Library (ITLL)

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

SALARY $46,763-$55,640 (Dependent upon education and experience)

  • Monthly $3,896.91 - $4,636.66
