Job Title: Classroom Technology Services (Summer/Temp)

Reporting Relationship: Assistant Director Classroom Technology Services

Unit: Central Administration

Department: Event, Classroom, Conference Services - Central Administration

Campus Location: Jackson Library

Summary of Position:    Assist CTS staff with maintenance and installation of Classroom Technology on all Regional Campuses, along with IWU Marion.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve the campus community in the capacity determined by the Assistant Director of Classroom Technology. Responsibilities could include:
    • General Maintenance of Classroom Technology
    • Removal of old technology from classrooms
    • Installation of new technology and classroom re-fresh
    • Travel to Regional locations with staff as needed
    • Assist with updating inventory control as needed
  • Adhere to any safety regulations and community standards as spelled out by IWU technology and employee guides

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

  • Must be at least a Junior in High School

Experience

  • Knowledge of basic classroom technology

Required Skills

  • Great attitude

  • Able to work independently as needed
