Minimum Experience/Education
PhD in biology, bioinformatics or a related discipline.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Experience in Biological and computational research.
Experience with isolation and analysis of DNA/RNA, and success in writing grant proposals. 
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will assist in laboratory and computation research for faculty in the Center for Computational Intelligence to Predict Health and Environmental Risks (CIPHER). These duties will be primarily related to extraction of nucleic acids (DNA or RNA), preparation of libraries, and sequencing.  This person will also prepare data for publications and contribute towards grant proposals for CIPHER Center.

*Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker’s Compensation provisions.
