The Jackson School of International Studies (JSIS) combines the in depth study of the social sciences, humanities and professional fields to enhance, impact and help shape our collective understanding of our increasingly interconnected globe. If you do and have at least ten years of progressively increasing responsibility in financial, accounting and administrative oversight an MBA, JD or CPA designation, we urge you to apply for the role of Chief Administrative Officer at the award winning, University of Washington, JSIS. In this role you will work in close partnership with the Director of JSIS and be responsible for managing the finance and administration operations of this highly dynamic, eclectic and wonderfully complex school that is home to five Title VI National Resource Centers, seven undergraduate majors, 14 minors and nine inter-disciplinary MA degrees. With faculty and staff each numbering in the high forties, there is a strong, experienced, and highly motivated cadre of academic and professional devoted to doing the inspired work of JSIS.

As the senior administrator reporting to the JSIS Director, the CAO will be charged with identifying all funds circulated through the School, while ensuring the highest levels of integrity and compliance to all applicable laws, policies, grants and contracts. This also means that the CAO will be responsible for the timely provision of all necessary budget forecasting and administrative considerations for the director and school leadership as they make strategic and budgetary decisions.

Specific duties include:
65% Oversight of all administration and fiscal operations of total annual budget of $25M.
