Essential Job Duties | The Undergraduate Program Coordinator (UPC) manages all the activities of the Undergraduate Program office for the Department of Chemistry. In this role you will serve as a resource for the Co-Directors of the Undergraduate Programs (Co-DUPs), undergraduate students (Chemistry majors and non-majors) students, parents, faculty and staff, addressing inquiries on program policies and procedures. Additionally you will be the department’s liaison with various university offices, manage a small staff of temporary employees, and coordinate graduation ceremonies and awards for seniors. The Chemistry UPC will serve as a member of the Chemistry Communications committee, which is responsible for the overall direction and activities of all digital media related to the department’s web presence, Website, and social media with particular emphasis on the undergraduate portion of the departmental webpages. Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education | Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
