Primary Purpose:
Provides therapeutic recreation services to patients including evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of an individualized treatment program and related documentation and communication.

Qualifications

 

Knowledge and Skills
Education: Bachelor of recreation therapy from an accredited university. Certification by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation required.
Years of Experience: Must have the ability to evaluate and treat patients with various psychiatric diagnoses and deficits. Use of theoretically sound therapeutic recreation intervention/methods using various treatment modalities dependent upon the needs and abilities of the patient.
