UW Medical Center Outpatient Surgery Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a DAYS SHIFT, FULL- TIME, CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists licensed nurses and staff with cleaning operating rooms after cases, assisting patient transfer from OR bed to stretcher.

Schedule will vary between 0600 and 1800 Mondays – Fridays, no weekends and no call. 

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Typical duties include:
• Cleaning operating rooms after surgical cases
• Assisting with gathering equipment for surgeries,
• Stocking supplies
• Assisting with patient transfer from OR bed to stretcher

REQUIREMENTS
High School graduation AND six months experience involving customer service OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Nursing Assistant- Certified (CNA)with the state of Washington
• Valid BLS/CPR card
