CDL Night Shuttle Driver
Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: CDL Night Shuttle Driver in the Department of Transportation Services.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Operating University vehicles in a safe manner in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations and laws as well as University policies and procedures.
· Performing pre and post-trip vehicle inspections.
· Driving night time shuttle and on-demand routes.
· Record keeping for fuel, mileage and work request for service to vehicles.
· Basic cleaning and servicing of vehicles.
· Occasionally driving buses, trucks, cars, and vans on trips.
· Maintaining and wearing properly assigned uniform while on duty.
· Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Class A or B commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement and a U.S. Department of Transportation medical card are also required. A successful candidate must pass a background check, drug screening, and submit to future random drug screenings.

Equipment Operator III (KD45/ TL5727/ NS01192P), time-limited position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 03. Salary range: $26,385.00 (minimum) – $37,605.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are 11:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. Normal work days vary. May be required to work some weekends. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Required Qualifications
High School Graduate or GED.

Licensure and/or Certification
