Position Summary:      

The Center of Israel Studies is seeking assistance with the center's research program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The employee will be engaged in the research projects of the CIS and its faculty, supporting the programs and projects of the Center for Israel Studies.
  • Research, writing, communications and upkeep of the Center web presence, staff programming in Israel.
  • The employee will answer directly to the Director.

Experience & Educational Background:

  • BA required, the applicant must minimally have a BA, and preferably begun an advanced degree in Jewish history.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Hebrew knowledge essential at an advanced level.
  • Exemplary organization and people skills.

Salary Range:

  • $16-$16 per hour.
