Job Summary
The Museum Store Sales Clerk is responsible for welcoming guests into the store and must have excellent customer service skills. They are responsible for the upkeep, stocking and display in the store. Must acquire knowledge of the merchandise we sell to better assist our guests with their selections. By all of the above they support the success of the store and our sales goals.

Responsibilities
Welcoming guests into our store. Helping them with their selections as needed. Must be able to perform accurate cash register procedures and accurate cash handling. Responsible for keeping the store neat and clean, for keeping the shelves fully stocked and the general upkeep of displays. Helps with receiving new merchandise and ticketing items. In general contributes to the overall success of the store.

Minimum Qualifications

Six months cashiering experience, basic mathematical skills, and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. Word processing and spreadsheet skills may be preferred for certain positions.

Preferences
Some retail experience is helpful but not absolutely necessary. Please show equivalent experience in your resume.
