Position Summary

The Wellness CNM Case Manager leads outreach opportunities for a holistic student wellbeing program across CNM locations and provides case management support to students. This role involves developing action plans to facilitate student basic needs support and referrals to community resources. This role will support the Director in building partnerships with community social service organizations. The Case Manager assesses effectiveness, analyzes data, and adjusts strategies to optimize program visibility and student success at the college. Individuals in this role will: Conduct 1:1 intakes and student meetings to support resource coordination and referrals. Develop, coordinate, and monitor plans to support students with basic needs support. Carry a caseload of students seeking Wellness CNM support, including keeping case notes, documenting referrals, managing appointments.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervises staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Identifies, directs, and assists to promote public affairs and strategic community outreach programs and sales-related efforts designed to introduce programs.
  • Collaborates with staff to identify and utilize subject matter experts to promote and recruit for programs.
  • Maintains working relationships with program staff to compile and disseminate program information.
  • Maintains focus on recruiting students into programs.
  • Plans, organizes and executes various events, both recurring and as needed.
  • Produces and presents various written and oral presentations and other content to diverse groups, including potential students, employers, industry leaders, and various community stakeholder organizations.
  • Works closely with academic departments, sales, program, and marketing teams to analyze and continually refine and implement successful strategies to reach and recruit various populations into programs.
  • Represents CNM and programs at public events, sometimes working outside regular hours.
  • Oversees documentation and analysis of outreach efforts.
  • Identifies and seeks out opportunities to collaborate with local companies and interest groups to increase partnership and create pipelines for recruitment and placement of program completers.
  • Building networking relationships with industry stakeholders to create understanding and involvement at programmatic level to develop and maintain industry driven competencies.
  • Demonstrated ability in critical thinking, tolerance of ambiguity, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' of combined experience in Sales, Marketing, Outreach, Higher Education, Public Relations, and/or Fundraising.
  • Associates degree and four (4) years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Outreach, Higher Education, Public Relations, and/or Fundraising.

Additional Preferences

  • Previous resource coordination experience with students referred to Wellness CNM.

  • Case management experience in a community college setting.

  • Familiarity and experience building referral networks in the Albuquerque area.
