Job Summary | The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Office of Career Development and Corporate Relations (CDCR) seeks candidates for a Career Services Specialist. This role will prepare career development content materials and resources that expand the reach of the CDCR increasing student access to formative career development approaches and embedding them in the student experience. This role will further support CDCR programs and services for students, alumni, faculty, and employers by maintaining contact with identified audiences, designing and disseminating reports and data visualizations, promoting events and services, and providing event support for career fairs, industry days, and college-wide programs. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications | Level I: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field with no experience. Level II: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field plus 2 years experience. Level III: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field plus 4 years experience. Master’s degree may be required for positions which require teaching. Focus of Experience: Experience in coordinating and/or providing career services and/or programs Substitutions allowed for Experience: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience. |

Minimum Skills and Abilities | Strong attention to detail and leadership skills. Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent computer skills, well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills.
