Position Purpose
Main Responsibilities: 
You will be primarily responsible for growing the UCM Career Services audience and brand visibility through the following activities: 
  • Aid students in creating polished and professional application materials and have career conversations during the Walk-In Studio Experience (W.I.S.E Hours). 
  • Promote the Career Services Center through attending and working semester events. 
  • Create awareness of the services available via presentations and promoting the Career Services Center. 
  • Help UCM students get connected, integrated, and engaged with their career readiness. 


Additional Responsibilities: 

You could additionally be responsible for the following activities: 
  • Peer support to the UNIV 3000: Career Readiness Course through preparation, integration of activities and engagement/support for the students in the classroom. 
  • Peer support to the UNIV 1800: Life Design through preparation, integration of activities and engagement/support for the students in the classroom. 
  • Assist with execution of career services events 
  • Co-host the Mules with the Mission podcast, plan episode content and run the Mules with a Mission Instagram account.
  • Lead and/or assist with affinity communities specific to THRIVE
  • Assist with the Career Champions program. 
Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Class Management Software
Experience
