Job Description
STUDENT SERVICES
Provides B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. College of Engineering (COE) students individual and group career and job search advising. Conducts classroom presentations, career development workshops, and student organization outreach. Serves as co-advisor to COE student organization.

PROGRAMMING AND EVENTS
Performs employer-facing responsibilities while coordinating, planning, and facilitating student, employer, and logistical aspects of annual spring career fair. Plans career related programming in collaboration with ECS Staff.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING
Strategizes, creates content for, and provides leadership in select areas of social media platforms.
Self-produces animated and recorded videos; collaborates with technology and communications to produce additional video marketing as needed.

SPECIAL POPULATIONS
Collaborative with College and University partners with additional needs (community approvals and reconciliation).
Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Student Personnel, Psychology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with individual career counseling and workshop facilitation.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling, Student Personnel, Psychology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience strongly desired.

Strong written and verbal communication skills strongly desired. Familiarity with standard office software. Experience with HANDSHAKE. Familiarity with computerized resources commonly utilized for job search, career research, career management. Familiarity with one or more computer assisted self-assessment/information packages. Knowledge of current employment practices. Experience with individual career counseling and job search/interview coaching. Familiarity in international employment and experience working with international engineering students preferred.


Additional Information:

Hiring Range: $49,800 - $66,400
