The CARE analyst will plan and conduct statistical and program management research; analytical assessments, routine, and ad hoc reporting, prepare forms, and recommend solutions to enhance program delivery.

Essential Duties

  • Generates reports from single or multiple systems, training end users on new reports and dashboards. Prepares routine and ad hoc reporting.
  • Supports the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Manages and designs the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and meta data.
  • Managing master data sets, developing reporting tools, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Manages and interprets master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Uses statistical tools, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
  • Assesses tests and implements new or upgraded software. Assists with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Trouble Shoots the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Provides technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing. Identifies opportunities for process improvements. 
  • Creates appropriate documentation of the data analysis.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 

  • 24 months experience in computing programming and analysis or in related field.

 Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
  • Knowledge of addressing and metadata standards
  • Ability to communication verbally and in writing
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines
  • Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives</p>

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to engage in repetitive motions.  Manual dexterity. Ability to sit for short or extended periods of time.
  • Standard office work environment.

Departmental Preferences:

  • 18 months data collection, analysis, and complex reporting
  • Computer skills with wide knowledge of business software (i.e. SQL, Excel, and Access)
  • Experience with data and metrics within contact center operations
