Job Duties
ECU Campus Recreation and Wellness is currently seeking Campus Recreation and Wellness Assistants to fill various roles including: Customer Service Attendants, Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Adventure/Team Training Assistants, Sports Program Supervisors, Intramural Officials and score Keepers, Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors, Fitness Attendants, Well Being Associates, Utility Assistants and Facility Managers.
Campus Recreation and Wellness (CRW) strives to promote, organize, and administer structured, self-directed, educationally oriented and leadership development programs and services to enhance positive recreation and wellness lifestyles of the university community.

Minimum Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
High school or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
• Clearance to operate university vehicles through a driver’s license check.
• Obtain valid CPR and First Aid certification and blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of being hired.
• Flexible work availability required included but not limited to the early morning, nights, weekends, holidays and ECU sanctioned breaks.
• Ability to work independently and as a team for a minimum of 8-12 hours per week.
