Friends University is seeking to fill the Campus Ministry Coordinator position in Wichita Kansas. This position will work closely with the Director of Campus Ministries on all aspects of campus ministry. This position will play an active and engaged role within the Campus Ministries’ team, and responsibilities include coordinating, communicating, and implementing a variety of campus ministry opportunities, Chapel, Spiritual Life Assistants, small groups, retreats, worship nights, prayer events, seasonal devotionals, local services, and short-term mission opportunities for students and the greater campus community.

Skills & Requirements

Ministry leadership experience in Campus Ministries/Student Ministries (such as Bible studies, mission trips, service projects, worship services, etc.) is required. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies and familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing required. Office experience (including skills with Microsoft Office and other computer programs) required. 

A bachelor’s degree is required. 

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Must possess the ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner, and to have a positive and productive working relationship with co-workers and University personnel
