Position Summary

Campus Lighting Technician will successfully lead lighting controls installations, including new building and renovations.
Will coordinate with involved trades and contractors to facilitate project completion.
Will program and operate lighting control systems including BMS integrations.

Graduation from a recognized vocational technical school in trade programs related to Electronics or Heating & Air Conditioning.

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate with customers and provide information to meet their needs. Technical knowledge of computerized building automation monitoring and control systems.
Thorough knowledge of pneumatic, electric and direct digital control systems. Thorough knowledge of commercial HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems. Thorough knowledge of electronics and the ability to troubleshoot on a component level.
Ability to multitask and function in a potentially high stress, fast paced environment. The incumbent is expected to modify approach to tasks to fit circumstances.
