Position Purpose
As part of UCM’s commitment to supporting student health and wellbeing, the Campus Community Health (CCH) Program Assistant enhances the work of the CCH office by providing administrative assistance to staff from the three CCH areas: the Office of Health Promotion, the University Health Center, and the Counseling Center.
Duties include coordinating logistics for programs, meetings and events; communication with other University offices, departments, and organizations as well as community organizations and entities; communicating with students; coordination of program participants and volunteers; data entry and reporting; confirmation of events and appointments by phone and email; online and paper record keeping and filing; coordinating and/or supporting CCH special projects; materials inventory and organization; internet research; social media; other duties as assigned in support of CCH programs and services.

Priority will be given to students who can commit to the position through August 2022 and have some evening/weekend availability.

Any student working for CCH must present themselves in a way that represents the the health promotion/harm reduction approach of the department, both while on and off duty (e.g. mask-wearing and other COVID-19 prevention behaviors, respectful communication, no marijuana use, legal and low-risk alcohol consumption).
This position is ideal for a Health Studies-Community Health major, but we welcome students from any major with an interest in campus health to apply.
The hours for this position will be a minimum of 10/week and maximum of 20/week, primarily during the weeks that classes are in session; typical hours will be 10-15/week. Some hours may be available at times when classes are not in session. Preferred start date of September 1, 2021. 
Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Other - Competency with the Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive and related applications, and multiple social media platforms required; competency with Canva preferred.
