The Integrated Service Center (ISC) supports the University’s faculty, staff and student workers by serving as a first point of contact for designated HR and Payroll inquiries and by processing a limited scope of centralized Human Capital Management (HCM) transactions (i.e., within the HR, Benefits and Payroll domains).  The hallmarks of the ISC are in delivering services that are timely, accurate and highly attuned to the fast-paced university environment.

The ISC has multiple openings for full time Senior Workday Business Analysts.

The University is currently involved in a multi-year program to modernize its existing financial systems. The UW Finance Transformation Program (UWFT) is implementing Workday Financials with a planned go-live date of July 2023. These positions will support the ISC’s efforts as they work with the UWFT Program on the changes this implementation will have on the current configuration of Workday HCM.  These positions are funded for the duration of the Program, with an expected end date in December 2023.

The Sr. Workday Business Analyst will support Tier 3 Application Management functions in Workday, a cloud-based human resource management software system. More specific responsibilities will include coordinating with other ISC team members to analyze/troubleshoot complex system issues, supporting the configuration and implementation changes to the Workday application, participating in testing/validation of functionality changes, supporting the development of Workday domain area training material, and acting in a functional ownership capacity for designated reports and integrations. In performing these duties, the incumbent will analyze business problems and processes to identify functional and non-functional solutions supporting the needs of the University.

As a contributor to the Application Support team, the Sr. Workday Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert within Workday to ensure design, development, configuration, testing and launch of specific features are complete and functional, both independently and in coordination with all other dependent Workday features. Further, this position is responsible for ensuring all dependent integrations, reports and other business needs are consistently maintained and accounted for as continual changes are made to the Workday system.
