Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | Under the general supervision of the Business Manager, the position will provide business services to an assigned group of faculty or a research support facility. Responsibilities include a combination of business operations that include procurement, post-award contract and grant administration, travel, and other accounts payable activities. |
Minimum Qualifications: | Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Six years progressively responsible experience in a combination of budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, and personnel work. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Other: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. |

Physical Demands | Ability to move about campus to occasionally deliver time sensitive items to other departments. Traditional open office environment, remaining at desk a majority of the day operating computer and responding to inquiries. Repetitive motion as required for computer entry work. Must have the ability to lift and small carry parcels, packages and other items, to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up material |
