Job Summary
The Business Services Specialist II oversees the daily operations of the Eagle ID Card office. Provides operational, technical, and administrative support to Business Services.

Job Description
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
- Oversees the daily operations of the Eagle ID card office. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to ID card production.
- Serves as administrator of the Blackboard and Micros transaction systems related to ID card services. Accurately inputs data into these systems daily.
- Receives cash, checks, and/or credit card Eagle Dollar payments and accurately records transactions according to established guidelines.
- Orders and maintains card inventory and other card printing supplies.
- Troubleshoots issues with card printers and software. Makes repairs as necessary. Notifies vendor of more complex repairs.
- Researches and resolves Eagle Dollar deposit inquiries and issues. Elevates complex issues.
- Assists with Business Services projects and initiatives including Dining, Bookstore, Duplicating, and Vending services.
Other Duties:
- Serves on committees as assigned.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- This position requires a high school diploma and four years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
- Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Management or closely related field.
- Work experience in a higher education setting.
- Experience with Banner and Blackboard software applications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of FERPA and other applicable laws, regulations, procedures and guidelines related to the position.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Banner or similar enterprise financial management software application.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within deadlines.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse group of staff, faculty, students and the community in a service-oriented environment.
- Ability to use effective decision making and problem solving techniques.
- Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures consistently.
- Ability to work successfully as both a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take initiative to plan, organize, coordinate and perform work in various situations when numerous and diverse demands are involved.
