Position Summary
The Business Services Coordinator will coordinate the business functions and administrative workflow of the Library Administrative Services division. This includes:
* Assisting with setting deadlines and ensuring timely completion of all deliverables, including improving processes related to departmental workflows.
* Improving customer service provision through stakeholder engagement and communication. 
* Assisting with the receiving of commodities and supplies.
* Engaging in communication and stakeholder engagement by coordinating communication for administrative services work requests and projects and coordinating and triaging workflow for the team.
* Assisting Head of Library Facilities/Interim Associate University Librarian for Administrative Services with fiscal year forecasting as necessary.
* Assisting with monitoring and reconciling Facilities work orders and expenditures.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
* Demonstrated experiences with business process practices.
* Demonstrated experience with state procurement and purchasing processes.
* Demonstrated experience with facilities and space planning projects.
* Demonstrated ability in organizational workflow.
* Commitment to excellent customer service. 
* Ability to communicate detailed information and instructions in written and oral form to stakeholders and audiences.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools. 
* Ability to analyze complex and sensitive situations independently and solve problems.
* Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Experience creating welcoming and inclusive learning and research environments.
* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse user communities, including students, faculty, researchers, colleagues, and community members.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
* Prior experience in higher education, libraries, or cultural institutions, or interest in the mission of an academic library.
* Prior experience with mail, shipping, or receiving.
