Business Operations Advisor (part-time) - Dietrich College

The Dietrich College is seeking a part-time Business Operations Advisor. This position is responsible for the collection, compilation, interpretation and analysis of internal and external financial data in order to support university wide budgeting and strategic operational decisions. In this role you will also be responsible for producing documentation and interpretative reports based on statistical and financial analyses and will be responsible for presenting them to finance and university senior leadership, and ultimately providing training and guidance to pass on to others as this position is only expected to last through August 2024.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Financial analysis, forecasting & reporting
  • Oracle and Workday transaction approval
  • Provide training and guidance
  • Unit forecast responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience with workday and Oracle
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working at CMU, will be knowledgeable of the financial systems and CMU processes to be able to provide training and guidance

Additional Information:

  • Part-time position, expected to work approximately 15 hours per week.
  • Fixed term, through August 2024.
