Posting Summary | Provide budget, financial, administrative, and operational management support to the Center for Community News (CCN). Manage, track, and provide analysis and reporting of CCN’s 5-year/$7M budget revenue and spending; manage the distribution of CCN’s Faculty Champions Programs (FCP) awards, providing guidance and direction to external awardees; provide administrative and organizational support; coordinate CCN events. Serve as liaison with UVM and external offices on all matters relating to budget, finance management, sponsored projects, facilities, events, HR, and reporting. |
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 2-4 years related experience to include working with professionals in financial management in higher education setting or equivalent combination. Effective project management, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Competency with data reporting, budgeting, and general software. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience in all aspects of office software usage, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required, and the ability to multitask effectively. |
Desirable Qualifications | Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) preferred. UVM or higher education budget management experience desired. |
Anticipated Pay Range | Approximately $70,000/year |
Other Information | Actual hiring pay dependent on current competitor market conditions, comparable campus peer(s) at time of hire, and candidate’s experience level and length. This position is wholly supported by extramural funds through June 30, 2029. Applicants are asked to apply online.
