Position Summary/Description:

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

The Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst will provide a variety of information technology services in support of Advancement operations at UNC-CH. As a member of the Information Systems team within University Advancement, this position will administer the reporting and data services needs in support of University Advancement, as well as the schools, units and foundations throughout UNC-CH.

This is a proactive applications analyst position that will develop strong partnerships with the customer in order to fully understand their business processes and requirements. With an emphasis on customer service, this position will provide technical and functional support of the enterprise-wide advancement application, associated peripheral applications, along with desktop software tools to help organizations meet their goals.

The Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst will serve as first-line support to our customers while responding to report, data and training requests. It will entail a detailed analysis of the requirements in addition to the delivery of creative solutions, including but not limited to, database modifications, customized reports, data extracts, and data transformations. A high-level of quality control is necessary to ensure the accuracy of said reports and data extracts.

Education and Experience:

Thorough knowledge of Alumni and Development operations, preferably in a large university.
