The Business Intelligence Analyst III shall be responsible for:

• Interacting with hospital clinical, financial and administrative end users to understand their needs for analytics, reports and dashboards
• Working in collaboration with the Enterprise Data Warehouse team and internal customers to understand data sources and information flow.
• Demonstrating and maintaining a broad in-depth knowledge of supported software and best practices in dashboard development, visualization, user experience design and quality assurance
• Conducting usability testing on reports and dashboards as well as solution validation.
• Conducting demos of dashboard solution
• Developing and maintaining documentation
• Auditing reports and recommending changes to reflect accuracy, consistency and completeness of data being reported.
• Working with leadership to provide unbiased and accurate information, analysis, consultation and recommendations to support strategic and operational initiatives for the Hospital.
• Preparing analytic dashboards, reports and visualizations using BI tools to provide insights for improving enterprise performance.
• Performing thorough data quality and profiling activities to ensure that information delivered from BI solutions is reliable and of consistently high quality.
• Leading the development of enterprise-wide KPIs and delivers data analytics and business intelligence solutions including methods to measure them.
• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Mathematics, Health Care Data Management or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in systems analysis, health care quality analysis, IT quality assurance, user experience design or similar.
• Experience with visualization tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, Business Objects).
• Experience with healthcare EHR systems (Cerner, Epic) preferred.
