Job Description

The Business Coordinator I, under general supervision, provides support and coordination of a variety of business activities requiring independent judgment, including reviewing business documents and assisting in developing, monitoring, and reporting accounts and budget data as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes vouchers, requisitions, memberships, and individual reimbursements.
  • Assists faculty and staff with questions and processes related to accounts payables.
  • Allocator for the payment card and travel credit cards. Maintains checkout log for the payment card and travel credit cards. Creates Purchase Orders and processes receiving. Processes travel including routing domestic and international travel requests and assisting faculty and staff with expense reports.
  • Troubleshoots Aggiebuy, Concur and IMS issues.
  • Provides clarification of rules and regulations for accounts payables, travel and credit card use.
  • Provides assistance with monthly account verifications as necessary for accounts.
  • May provide accounting reports upon request.
  • Resolves problems and issues with vendors; answers questions regarding policies and procedures.
  • Assists with year-end closing activities as requested.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

  • Two years of related experience.
