The Ohio State University Center for Real Estate at Fisher College of Business is a leading international provider of transformative educational and networking experiences that draw upon the University's strong tradition of excellence.  The Center fosters opportunities for connectivity among individuals, industry, and government through all phases of a professional's career and life cycle.  We provide a bridge to interdisciplinary disciplines throughout the University to promote cutting-edge, relevant research and educational opportunities for all.

The Business Operational Analyst provides strategic operational support to the day-to-day operations the Center for Real Estate. Assists with the planning and implementation of numerous large-scale events that involve students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals to promote the Center and building industry relationship.  Partners with sponsors and internal team to identify event opportunities and executes upon all facets of organizing logistics. Assists with the Center's web and social media presence. Participates in the business planning and process improvement activities. Plans collaborative meetings with committees and stakeholders. Manages communications with internal and external stakeholders and meets with stakeholders within the University, industry partners. Serves as the primary fiscal and administrative contact for internal and external customers. Supports research, business development, and fundraising efforts for the Center. Run reports and disseminate information to assists with the analysis of the Center's program data. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience in business administration or related field of study. Internship and/or related experience in business operations, communications, project management or a related area. Ability to collaborate and work well in a diverse, team-oriented environment. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.  Self-starter with ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive workstreams simultaneously.       

Desired Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in business operations, communications, project management or a related area. Confidence in composing proposals, reports, board or program materials, and other documents for internal and external audiences.  Experience working in academic environments to drive proactively results by interfacing across departments and administrative offices.
