Business Analyst II

The individual in this position works as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, prioritize, clarify, validate, and document requirements for changes to business processes and information systems in support of project/portfolio objectives and scope.   
The Business Analyst works independently with minimal guidance and is naturally inquisitive and adept in communication, elicitation, facilitation, and modeling techniques.

Individuals demonstrate experience in the business analysis discipline and apply their working knowledge of the company, industry, and/or business domain. 


Bachelor’s Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the business analysis discipline
ITIL framework and IT product methodologies 
Familiarity with testing techniques and software
Prior experience in higher education environments a plus
IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI-PBA) preferred

Demonstrated successful performance giving presentations to both small and large audiences
Coordinating and completing multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines

Proven ability to provide business analysis for large scope project teams to meet customer expectations 
Demonstrated understanding of business analyst tools and techniques; demonstrated proficiency using MS Office and Visio tools

Must currently hold or pass the ITIL Foundation Certification Exam within 12 months of start date
