Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Will work closely with our research faculty to maintain their budgetary needs and balances.
- Assist in making sure that are off-site orders are up to date and accurate.
- May manage special projects or functions related to the business of the organizational unit.
- Professionally supports the clinical department management. Implements plans for clinical educational programs and initiatives.
- Monitors finances for the clinical section. Provides management with regular updates and ensures that spending limits are adhered to and are within budget.
- Assists faculty in the pursuit of grants and awards. Conducts special studies and projects, including the development and enhancement of funding opportunities by working closely with the faculty in the section.
- Acts as a liaison between the section and other University departments.
- Performs other related work as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous administrative experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience at an academic medical center strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with central administration within a complex research university environment strongly preferred.
- Experience operating basic computer applications including but not limited to MS Office and Outlook.
- Previous experience operating eLedgers.
- Previous experience in the OB/GYN field.
- Experience and or familiarity with GEMS, Buysite and ePayments.
