Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a field related to the position
  • Two (2) years of professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience.
    (NOTE: A Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.)
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of project management methodologies including project scope development, planning, and execution monitoring, and tracking, as well as management of timeline and budget.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in administration, communications, education, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relations with management and staff of all levels, colleagues, and other strategic partners.
    • Strong writing skills and ability to draft clear, concise memos and other documents.
    • Analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to provide basic data analysis and to learn to use new data systems. 
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize work accordingly to meet stringent deadlines.
    • Display creativity, initiative, and strategic thinking to conceptualize, plan, implement, and rework programs that support enterprise goals and objectives. 
    • Self-motivation to develop new strategies and ideas to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
    • Ability to motivate team members to achieve project goals, participate as a member of diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Ability to navigate complex relationships across the university and assist other team members and customers as necessary.
    • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in the performance of all assigned duties, and in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
