Job Summary

Supervises the day-to-day business operations of a small University academic unit. Enacts short- and long-range plans. Improves overall efficiencies, negotiates and approves agreements, and facilitates human resources actions.


Essential Functions 

  • Generating and processing faculty appointments, reappointments, clinical appointments, and working with the Family Medicine UPP Administrative Team in Contraxx to hire dually employed faculty. 
  • Alongside the Family Medicine Promotions Committee, will make faculty aware of promotional opportunities, and process promotions for the Department. 
  • Oversee Departmental space in the Schenley Place administrative offices.
  • Other administrative duties as requested/necessary.

  • Physical Effort 

    Little physical effort is required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
