The faculty also manages the Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Service, and a busy 24 bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The division also oversees an outstanding ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care Fellowship (3 fellows/year) who may rotate on the burn service. The Burn Medical Director may also rotate on trauma, SICU and/or EGS depending upon their interest and experience.
