Position Objective


 As a Building Check-in Monitor, you will serve to ensure safety and peace of mind for everyone who enters our college campus. The Building Check-in Monitor is an overtime eligible position.
This position has been designated as a bargaining unit position represented by Clover Park Federation of Classified Employees Local 4789.

This part-time temporary position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Positions will be filled as needs arise, at which time you will be contacted if qualifications are met.  

Duties and Tasks (Essential Functions)

  • Data entry of names and contact information of individuals
  • Verify their completion of COVID 19 training  
  • Provide building entry and exit instructions
  • Communicate requirements for wearing masks and social distancing
  • Take temperatures of faculty, staff, students, and visitors

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Organizational skills
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  •  Strong interpersonal skills
  •  Ability to solve problems quickly and calmly 
  •  Awareness of general infection control practices
  •  Strong technology skills (computer software, tablet, texting)

Our History
Clover Park Technical College is located in Lakewood, Washington. Our college has a rich history of professional and technical education dating back to the 1940s, when Clover Park School District established a War Production program, training civilians as auto mechanics, aircraft-service mechanics, ship-fitters, welders and blueprint readers. Now, CPTC offers more than forty programs in Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, Health Sciences, Human Services, Business, Hospitality, Science Technology, Engineering, Transportation and Trades.
