Budget & Administrative Coordinator I
VP Technology/Infrastructure
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Budget and Administrative Coordinator I provides administrative support to the Chief Information Officer as well as budgetary assistance to the Executive Director for the Office of the CIO. This will include administrative skills such as maintaining the CIO calendar, booking travel, ordering office supplies, and assisting with creation of purchase requisitions. This position requires a strong exercise of professional judgment and autonomous work effort, with independent decision-making.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Skilled with working with various standardized word and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and resource management skills.
• Ability to interact effectively and courteously with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Must be able to work independently and meet established or anticipated deadlines.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.
Required Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in an academic environment.
• Previous experience having worked for an organizational executive.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc).
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 24.
