The Graduate Assistant will work with Prof. Hana Worthen, students, and the teaching team. The spring 2021 course is titled “Ecologies of Transmedia Performance.”

Work Schedule

During the spring 2021 academic term, a commitment of 10hrs/wk is required with flexibility in scheduling to cover the class/lab and also hold “office hours” or “help sessions” with enrolled students.

Preparation work in advance of the spring term, and wrap-up work following the term may be available (if schedules permit).

Essential Duties Summary

– Assist instructors in setting up necessary material for classes.
– Assist individual students/smaller groups of students in generating narratives and structural strategies to deploy these narratives/strategies through iconic and verbal languages across a variety of genres that include web content and social networks.
– Assist students in using lab and equipment resources according to their choices and skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Qualification Summary

– Knowledge of JavaScript or Google Apps Script and HTML/CSS.
– Familiarity with animation and graphics design a plus.
