BSP Peer Mentor Trainer

Provides support to Bridge Scholars over the summer. Will assist in training new Peer Mentors and with the planning of events for BSP. The Peer Mentor Trainer will also carry out the duties of a peer mentor such as providing support to a cohort and helping to resolve Bridge student conflicts.

Training Peer Mentors 

- 20% Mentoring Scholars

 - 25% Assisting with Programming

 - 25% Holding Office Hours

 - 20% Staff Meetings

 - 10% Other Duties Assigned

Educational Requirements
High School diploma
Other Required Qualifications
Enrolled at GCSU with a minimum of 6 credit hours
Required Experience
At least one year as a Peer Mentor for the Bridge Scholars Program

Preferred Experience
Friendly, engaging, focused

KNOWLEDGE
Familiarity with BSP and its processes
