Job Responsibilities:  To provide support in the areas of recruitment, customer service, records/data management and operational activities.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
Knowledge of:  
  • General office practices and procedures;
  • Computer systems and software (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Database management; and 
  • Customer service practices. 

 
Skill & Ability to
  • Learn and retain a large amount and variety of information;
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism;
  • Manage heavy seasonal workload;
  • Accurately load and update information to PeopleAdmin and/or Banner;
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff and the public;
  • Manage electronic files;
  • Accurately and timely respond to and assist employees with a variety of HR related questions; and
  • Prioritize work with competing deadlines.

 
Preferred Qualifications: 
Human resources background including recruitment and employment activities;
Knowledge of applicant tracking/position management systems, HRIS/Payroll systems; and
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, technology, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
