The George Mason University, Facilities Department is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for a Boiler Operator position.
 
  
Under supervision of the Power Plant Operator Shift Supervisor, oversees the operation of the Central Heating and Cooling Plant (CHCP) and all satellite plants during the designated shift to ensure smooth operation and provide a service the George Mason University community to where there is some feeling of security in the event of malfunction.
 
 
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License
Graduation from high school or equivalent
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience in the operation of boilers
NOTE: An equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the preceding knowledge, skills and abilities may substitute for education. However, must be able to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations.
