Job Summary
The Oasis Research Team within the Department of Family and Community Medicine seeks a biomedical data scientist with expertise in biostatistical consulting, clinical trial data management, and analysis of large, observational data.
The candidate will support data science initiatives within the Oasis Research Team, working to promote the design and implementation of high-quality data products. This candidate will support efforts to assure project protocols are followed; as well as to develop data management and analytic plans, create and implement statistical programming, and oversee the construction of analytic datasets.
This position will collaborate with partners across campus to facilitate the development and dissemination of innovative translational research in topics such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, aging research, and rural health.
This is an in-person position. Remote and/or Hybrid work schedules are not available. 
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Statistical programming experience (e.g., SAS, R, STATA).
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience
MPH or MS in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Data Science plus one or more years related experience preferred. REDCap experience preferrred.
