The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for Student Lab Assistants in the Biology department on the Dahlonega campus. Lab assistants in the biology department will work alongside the faculty and staff to facilitate lab execution and content delivery. The Biology Department looks for students who are responsible, self-motivated, hard-working, punctual, able to maintain a regular work schedule, and are available to learn new techniques required in the lab.

  • Preparing in advance for lab
  • Setting up labs and taking them down
  • Assisting students in lab & answering their questions
  • Prepping supplies
  • Doing inventory
  • Cleaning labs
  • Helping in the office
  • The commitments will vary by labs and semesters.
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
