Normal hours are between 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Pay Rate 25.00 per hour
Minimum Experience/Education
Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field. Graduate-level training in computer science or related field. 1+ years full-time employment developing and releasing software. Experience using source code management software, IDEs and build/deployment tools.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Familiarity with software development processes, tools, frameworks and languages.
Knowledge of bioinformatics algorithms and software tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and support bioinformatics software.
  • Document work using project management software.
  • Help review and test work of other developers.
  • Document code and new features.
  • Help plan and prioritize own work and team schedules.
