Job Description:

Run daily reports to review and analyze enrollment data transferred from the State of Florida file into the UF PeopleSoft system. Troubleshoot and identify errors and works closely with IT to identify specific enrollment issue and resolve the discrepancies with either IT or the State of Florida.
Works with the Payroll Reconciliation team in the Benefits,UF Payroll and State of Florida offices when enrollment issues have been identified and resolved to ensure the necessary deductions, refunds and or adjustments are made to avoid employee loss of insurance coverage.
Review and analyze UFSelect Long Term Disability enrollment to identify and work with the employee on errors over the guaranteed issue and help to correct or enter missing enrollment data.
Provide guidance to employees when Life Insurance enrollments are not permitted based on eligibility and counsels on options for future enrollment as necessary. Explains the Evidence of Insurability process (EOI) and works with vendor to review and get applications approved for enrollment as needed. 
During annual open enrollment, this position processes/handles mass manual enrollments for Disability and Term Life beyond Guaranteed Issue amounts as well as cancelling grandfathered plans which are completed outside of the self-service portal. Interacts with employees on corrections and contact with the vendor to monitor the EOI process. Reviews the State enrollment file for discrepancies and works with the Payroll/Reconciliation team in the Benefits Office to process adjustments, review and validate rate changes, and assist with review and content in the BenAdmin portal.             
Provides support to both the Customer Service and Payroll Reconciliation staff on all State and UFSelect enrollment issues, plan rates and dates. Assists with corrections, opening portals for UFSelect plans as needed and help push events through. Work with both employees and departments to handle GatorCare and UFSelect dependent verification to ensure all dependents of UF Self Insured plans are in compliance. Monitor employees who have transferred from another state agency to ensure all enrollments continue with new position at UF.
Assist with reviewing and processing Retirement forms to ensure correct enrollment and contributions are taken on employees’ paychecks. Assists with the Annual Open Enrollment including testing and validating enrollments in Beta. This also includes updating the system with appropriate effective dates and rates. Manage the FloridaPrepaid plan with starting up and stopping of deductions and communicating with employees.


Expected Salary:

$50,000

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of PeopleSoft, People First/Convergys, GatorJobs, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
